Everything you need to make the most of fitness trails and take part in the site.
A fitness trail is an outdoor route lined with wooden or metal exercise stations, designed for moving at your own pace through simple workouts. You alternate walking, stretching, pull-ups and small jumps, on your own, with family or with friends. It is sometimes called a Vita course. Access is almost always free and open.
Yes, the site is entirely free. You can browse the map and every listing without an account. Creating an account is only useful if you want to suggest a trail, propose a correction or leave a review.
The easiest way is to use the map on the home page: pan around it to see the trails near you. You can also browse the list of departments to explore a region or open a town's page. Each listing shows the location and the starting point of the trail.
Create a free account, then use the button to suggest a trail. To correct an existing listing, open it and propose a change. Every submission is reviewed by our team before it is published. Thank you in advance for your help.
Exercise stations are the equipment set up along the trail for working out: pull-up bars, balance beams, wall bars, plank benches and many more. Each listing lists the stations available, and guides explain what each type is for and how to use it gently.
When a trail's route has been recorded, it appears on the interactive map of its listing. You can then view the route, its distance and its starting point before you set off. Not every trail has a route yet, and this is one of the details the community helps to complete.
Listings are filled in by the community, then reviewed by our team before publication. We check that the information is consistent and show a verification date once a listing has been checked. A quality indicator helps us spot the listings to complete. If you notice a mistake, feel free to let us know.
