This page explains what data the site uses, why, and how to exercise your rights. Browsing the map and the listings requires no account.
Les Parcours de Santé is published by Mickaël LEBRET, who is the controller for the data described on this page.
For any question about your personal data, you can write to us at this address.
The site only collects what it needs to work.
When you add photos, they are read directly in your browser to find the GPS position and the capture time. This information is used to place the exercise stations along the trail.
The files are then recompressed on the server. That step removes the EXIF metadata from published photos.
The site uses your browser's local storage to keep your sign-in token, your display preferences and a translation cache. It also sets two cookies to remember your language and your distance unit, kept for one year.
This information stays on your device and is not used to track you across other sites. You can erase it by clearing the site data from your browser.
The site may show ads provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may place advertising cookies on your device or use web beacons to serve and measure those ads.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, your consent is collected before any personalized advertising. It goes through a Google-certified consent message.
To find out more or to adjust your advertising preferences, these pages are useful.
Some features of the site rely on outside services. They receive your browser's IP address, as with any request on the Internet.
Your position is used when you click the button meant for it, and on the home page if you have already allowed your browser to share it. It is used to center the map and to suggest the trails closest to you. It is not kept in our database.
The General Data Protection Regulation gives you a right of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection regarding your data.
To exercise these rights, write to us at the contact address given above. We answer as soon as we can.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
Your account data is kept for as long as the account exists. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.
This policy may change along with the site. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
